Primary care physicians fall into one of two categories: family medicine doctors and internal medicine doctors.
The providers at Optimum Medical Group are trained in Internal Medicine, which means that they focus on the health and well-being of the adult population, and have a broad base of expertise in the many areas of health that affect adults. Internal Medicine physicians are also more likely to provide hospitalist care. Our providers often follow our patients in both the out-patient and in-patient (hospital) settings.
